Southern India A new outsourcing destination for the 21st Century
Over the past 10 years. India has become the undisputed leader in offshore development outsourcing thanks to its extensive talent pool, cheaper labour costs and supportive government policy. The Indian government has been encouraging the growth and development of IT offshore outsourcing and it has even organized its primary, secondary, higher secondary and professional education systems accordingly to suit the need of outsourcing. As a result it is estimated that India controls 44 percent of the global offshore outsourcing market for software and back-office services.
Historically, the major centres for this have been Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai.
Systems Valley are now at the Vanguard of the development of a wave of new high technology parks, with investment in the latest IT and communications infrastructure in the Southern Indian state of Kerala.

It is now home to two prestigious Indian technology institutions, NIT and IIM. These provide a major pool of local talents and skills in management and technology, making the location ideal for software development.
Kozhilode has excellent transport connections with an international airport, road networks and well connected inter state trains.
