Systems Valley announces enhanced version of innovative leave management application
London, 09 November 2010: Systems Valley, a provider of leading-edge technology solutions and services, has launched an enhanced version of its popular leave and absence management application: LeaveMaster 2.0. Used by organisations across the UK, LeaveMaster is a web-based application that allows employees and managers to quickly and easily book, authorise and record all types of leave and absence, including holidays, training days and sick days, using a fast, automated system. It has been enhanced with new time and cost-saving features and a new user-friendly interface.

LeaveMaster 2.0.’s enhanced features include a new user-friendly dashboard that allows users to see how much leave they have already taken and how many days they have left to take for each leave type as soon as they login to the application. Using the new dashboard, users can also get an immediate overview of all their recent leave applications and see the status of their last leave application, and use a Quick Navigation bar to quickly switch between features like LeaveMaster’s leave status page, shared leave calendar and automated apply for leave forms.
The new release of LeaveMaster also includes a who’s off today feature on the home page that tells users who is currently on holiday or off sick in their organisation, and a web graphic that allows users to compare how many leave days they have taken with their total allowance for each type of leave offered by their company.
LeaveMaster 2.0 additionally has new online forms for requesting and authorising leave that are quick and easy to fill in and a new automated feature that allows users to apply for leave directly from an Outlook style calendar.
To book a holiday or request time off in lieu using LeaveMaster, rather than filling out a form, an employee simply logs into a web-based application and requests their leave online. This triggers an email to their line manager, who can see at a glance who else is away on the days requested, before authorising or denying the request at the click of a button.
