According to a new poll , British businesses are improving productivity and lowering costs by embracing flexible working practices.

Conducted by Regus, who surveyed 4,000 UK companies, the poll found that 80% of British businesses now allow their employees to work flexible hours.

Of the surveyed companies who have adopted flexible working, 40% said it had improved staff productivity, 67% said their employees now enjoyed a better work-life balance, while 55% said that switching from conventional, fixed office working to flexible working had helped them to reduce costs.
