Revised data raises fresh concerns

Fresh concerns have been raised about Britain’s economy after the Office for National Statistics (ONS) released revised Gross Domestic Product figures  for the last quarter of 2010.

According to the new ONS figures, Britain’s economy shrunk by 0.6% in the final three months of 2010, not 0.5% as originally estimated. This follows four consecutive quarters in which the economy grew.
