Publisher reduces IT admin using SharePoint

According to a case study published on the Microsoft website, the Lerner Publishing Group, a leading children’s book publisher, has reduced its IT administration and built a dynamic new website using Microsoft SharePoint Server.

Lerner hopes the new website will improve the browsing experience of its customers and lead to an increase in direct-to-consumer sales. And since the website’s content owners have been able to use SharePoint to manage the site’s content themselves, Lerner has also been able to reduce the amount of time wasted on IT administration.
