Microsoft has announced  a new release of its retail management software package, Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail.

Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail R2 will be available in more than 50 countries from February 1st and will help retailers of all sizes improve the efficiency of their operations and enhance the service they provide customers.

Launched at the National Retail Federation’s annual conference, the new software package will streamline and automate critical retail operations, such as inventory and supplier management, POS procedures and transaction processing.
