According to a new report,  IT and business process outsourcing by UK organisations could increase by 600% in the next ten years.

Prepared by research firm Everest, in collaboration with Egypt's IT development agency ITIDA, the report states that British organisations will increasingly look to outsource IT and business process services in order to reduce costs, stay competitive and obtain critical skill sets.

The ‘proof of concept' of global outsourcing as well as a growing acceptance of outsourcing within the public sector and the government will also prompt more organisations to outsource.
