

Commenting on the Bank of England’s decision to pump an extra £50bn into the UK economy , the Financial Secretary to the Treasury has said he expects the economy to return to growth by the end of the year. However, in a statement, the Bank of England have said that the UK recession "appears to have been deeper than previously thought.”
