Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 will connect people, processes and data

As discussed in a blog last week, Microsoft has unveiled Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 with the claim that it will offer “The Power of Productivity”. But how will organisations benefit from implementing the new software package?

According to Microsoft, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 will connect people, processes and data from both inside and outside an organization and allow employees, customers and suppliers to work together more efficiently and effectively.

The new software package will also offer deeper integration with familiar Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word; reducing training requirements and improving user adoption.

And Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 will help employees make more informed decisions: by giving them new ways to visualize and analyze data and providing them with improved intelligence about their organization, their customers and their suppliers.

As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, we have the expertise to seamlessly and securely implement Microsoft Dynamics CRM in your organisation. Call us on 0800 33 456 30 to find out more.

Transport minister wants more home working

A transport minister in the new coalition government has urged UK employers to adopt more flexible working practices and allow staff to work from home at least once every two weeks.

Norman Baker, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Department of Transport, believes an increase in home working will reduce transport congestion and pollution, eliminate rush hours and help the government create a low-carbon economy.

The Minister also believes that allowing staff to spend one day in every ten working from home will reduce stress levels and help employees achieve a better work-life balance.

Systems Valley has the experience and specialist resources to implement solutions in your organisation that facilitate remote and home working, such as Microsoft SharePoint.

How compatible is your website?

As we discussed in a previous blog your website is often the first point of contact prospective customers have with your business or brand, so it is essential that your site portrays your organisation in a dynamic and professional light.

Three or four years ago, the majority of your customers would most likely have viewed your website on a PC or laptop using Internet Explorer. However, in today’s multi-browser and multi-platform environment, your prospective and existing customers are just as likely to access your website on a smartphone or PDA or using a browser such as FireFox or Google Chrome. So it is critical that your website not only looks good, but is compatible with all browsers, including mobile phone browsers.

We are committed to complete cross-browser compatibility and only build websites to the highest industry-recognised standards for CSS and HTML. So if we design and build a website for your business or brand, your website will be effortless to view and navigate no matter which browser or platform your customers use.

Find out more.
