Why work with a Microsoft Gold Partner?

Yesterday, we were pleased to announce that Systems Valley had attained Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status. But how does this benefit companies who are looking to work with us on a software development project or who need a cutting-edge solution or application?

As a Gold Certified Partner, we can now receive early access to the latest Microsoft tools, technologies and platforms and get training and unlimited technical support directly from Microsoft. This will enable us to enhance our offshore development services and state-of-the-art software solutions and offer an even better service to customers.

You can read more about the benefits of the Microsoft Partner Program here.

Systems Valley attains Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status

We’re proud to announce that Systems Valley has attained Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status: the highest level it’s possible to achieve within the Microsoft Certified Partner Program.

We achieved Microsoft Gold Partner status, for both our UK head office and our offshore development centre in India, by demonstrating the highest level of technical expertise in Microsoft technologies and achieving Microsoft Competencies in Custom Development Solutions and ISV/Software Solutions.

To achieve a Microsoft Competency in Custom Development Solutions, we demonstrated that we employ highly-skilled Microsoft Certified developers and have proven competency in providing custom-developed solutions that were built using Microsoft technologies and have been successfully used by satisfied customers.

Our competency in ISV/Software solutions and, with it, Gold Certified Partner status, was attained after Microsoft’s verification team tested LeaveMaster, our time and cost-saving leave management application, against Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 and approved it as having been expertly-developed using Microsoft tools and technologies.

Download a free white paper on absenteeism

With employee absence costing UK employers an average of almost £700 per employee every year, companies can ill-afford to overlook absenteeism, but many are still failing to accurately monitor and measure absence levels.

This free white paper  looks at how companies can make substantial cost-savings by improving their absence rates and demonstrates how web-based systems for monitoring and managing leave and absence can be used to reduce absenteeism.

Keeping you in control

Outsourcing your technical, non-customer-facing projects to a specialist provider allows you to significantly reduce your capital expenditure while freeing up your internal resources to focus on your core operations. But how can you ensure you don’t lose operational control of business-critical projects if you entrust them to an offshore provider?

We believe that the cost-saving benefits of outsourcing shouldn’t be achieved at the expense of losing control of key projects, which is why our offshore developers always work directly under our clients’ supervision, and as part of their development teams.

We also specify that our clients choose how and when they are notified on the progress of their development projects and select the project management methodology that our developers work to.

You can find out more here.

Get the right skills, at the right time

We provide organisations of all sizes with experienced, Microsoft-Certified software developers. But how do we decide which developers work on which projects for our clients?

To ensure our clients always have the right skill sets and expertise they need for a software development project, at the right time, we encourage our clients to be as actively involved as possible in the selection of their offshore teams.
We provide a detailed profile of each developer, so our clients can match the skills sets of our Microsoft Certified Professionals with their specific requirements. Should they choose to do so, we also arrange for clients to interview our developers, and even arrange for them to visit our offshore development centre, so they can meet the developers in person.

And we offer a flexible arrangement that allows our clients to bring in different developers with different skill sets at any time during a project.
